LinkMan™ Probe qPCR Mastermix offers industry leading sensitivity, specificity, speed, and dynamic range to take your probes mastermix to the next level.  LinkMan™ Probe qPCR Mastermix is designed for use in all real-time probe based assays, including TaqManⓇ Probes, ScorpionⓇ Probes, and molecular beacon probes.

Formulated as a 2X mastermix, LinkMan™ Probe qPCR Mastermix utilizes BioLink’s LinkTaq Hot-Start Polymerase.  Inhibited by a potent monoclonal antibody until denaturation at 95°C, our hot-start polymerase offers industry leading specificity and allows for reaction setup at room temperature.

Generated using site directed mutagenesis performed on the active site of Taq polymerase, the LinkTaq HS polymerase used in our LinkMan™ mastermix offers greatly improved enzyme processivity, allowing for fast PCR protocols – 40 cycles in under 30 minutes.  Additionally, the enzyme’s boosted processivity increases reaction efficiency, providing improved sensitivity and earlier Ct values.  It also confers the mastermix with superior tolerance to challenging templates, crude samples, and GC- or AT-rich content.

The LinkMan™ Probe qPCR Mastermix is perfectly suited for use in gene expression, SNP genotyping, copy number analysis, and viral load applications and is compatible with non-purified genomic material from direct PCR kits such as BioLink’s FastLink™ 1-hour genotyping kit.
